Randy Weiss saw this mathematically significant roadsign and knew instantly that it smacked of Avogadro's number! He pulled off the highway and ferreted the back streets to find a view of the sign.

Mr. Weiss had to hunker down for a while to get the math to work out though. Elegant? No. But it does work.
